Private Company Index Files Offering for PCI Palm Beach, Establishing an Investable Index of Leading Private Companies

Stephen H. Watkins

PALM BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, April 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Private Company Index (“PCI”) today announced that it has filed its public offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to establish its second regional index, PCI Palm Beach, following the successful launch of PCI Tampa.

“With the Tampa Index now underway,” said Matthew J. Henderson, VP of Finance and Strategy, “expanding into additional Florida markets is a natural next step as we continue building a scalable platform of regional private company indexes across the United States.”

“When we collaborated with the Dow Jones Index Team, we consistently heard from institutional investors seeking a way to access and participate in local private company performance,” said Stephen H. Watkins, Founder and CEO of the Private Company Index. “We believe we have structured a vehicle that not only enables regional investors to invest locally, but also establishes a new, investable asset category tied directly to private company revenue performance across major metropolitan areas in the United States.”

“The filing lays the foundation for disciplined expansion of the Private Company Index, with a long-term vision to extend the model beyond Florida across the United States,” continued Watkins. “Our vision is to establish performance-tracking indexes in each major metropolitan area, creating a national framework of approximately 400 regional indexes.”
