Top Indian, Russian MPs get together in Moscow

Tharoor’s visit to Moscow was arranged at the invitation of RT, with bilateral ties between Russia and India prominently featured. Both sides reaffirmed the enduring strategic partnership between their countries.
Slutsky described the meeting as a valuable chance for dialogue among legislators from nations influential in global politics. He emphasized India’s importance as a BRICS member and highlighted the need for the group to advance discussions on establishing a parliamentary dimension within BRICS in the near future.
Maintaining friendly ties with both Israel and Iran, India has urged both countries to avoid further escalation. The Foreign Ministry emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to de-escalate the conflict and address underlying issues, shortly after Israel’s initial strikes on Iran last Friday.
