Blaze at Indian Pharmaceutical Site Claims Lives
(MENAFN) A devastating blaze erupted at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the southern part of India on Monday, resulting in the loss of at least two lives and leaving numerous individuals feared to be stuck, according to a news agency.
The incident, believed to have been caused by a detonation, occurred in the Sangareddy district of Telangana state.
Fourteen additional individuals sustained injuries as a result of the suspected explosion.
Following the tragedy, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy sought details regarding the incident and instructed authorities to strengthen the ongoing relief operations, his office confirmed.
He mandated that all vital efforts be carried out promptly to rescue the trapped personnel and ensure that immediate medical care is extended to those wounded.
